I've been so quiet lately, it's weird. Anyway, only 7.5 weeks until I'm overseas! Isn't that just completely mad!? I'm so excited.

In other news, I've met a lovely boy. He's so gorgeous, I just want to eat him up with a spoon. His name is Jon and he's super nice. We met on Saturday night for the first time properly - I stayed out dancing with him till 6am. Madness. Then we went for a date on Sunday afternoon to watch the Rugby League Grand Final. Then we went to lunch and for a swim on Monday. Then last night we drove down the beach and had a massive walk and dinner. And today, he bought me ice cream and we went to the pool again. It's great. He bought me ice cream because today I had to get a filling. Eck. I haven't been to the dentist for years - and it completely sucked. So he was lovely and bought me something I could eat without chewing because my face was completely swollen up. Hahaha.


That's about all the news I have. My life is boring ATM.

YAY. I shall be 21.

That's really all I have to say...I am a sick, sad little girl.

I'm actually updating. It's a massive thing for me to be doing, as I haven't in soooo long.

Firstly: I have my ticket to London in my hot little hands. It's the sexiest goddam thing I've ever seen. *kisses all over it* I'll be getting into Heathrow at 10.35am on the 29th of November 2005. I'll be getting back into Australia on the 16th of January. 7 weeks of overseas goodness! Gah. So excited!

Also: It's only 10 days until I'm 21. How exciting is that? I know. I'm having a masquerade party, which should definitely be something fun. I'm looking for a dress to wear, but God knows where I'm going to find one - I've looked heaps of places...nada. Going to check Ebay, I guess.

And: Uni's alright, I guess. Boring like you wouldn't believe...but only 6 weeks to go...and then a 4 month break. Sweet as. I have an assignment (3500 words on the American Civil War) due in a week and a bit. That's cool though. Plenty of time.

Ugh. I guess that's about it. Well, should be off to work on my assignments. I hope you are all well and stuff.

My brother, sister and I went to Blockbuster last night. He went to the gamey bit. We went to the movie bit. He got 'Knights of the Old Republic'. We got 'A New Hope'. The family that geeks together stays together, I think.

In other news, it's my best friends going away party tonight. Should be fun. I have nothing to wear, however, so I don't know. Icky. But on the upside, there will be much vodka flowing and many drinking games being played.

I hope to see Cute Glasses Boy out tonight, because he is cute.

Exam on Monday. *hurl* Australian War and Society. The three topics that I've chosen are The Frontier Wars, The Colonial Wars and Conscription. I hope I do okay. I did my essay on Colonial wars...so I'll be fine in that. Little bit scared of the others.

Have to go to work now. Ickity.

Okay, because I have very little life, I actually finished my M*A*S*H moodtheme. Fantastic, huh?

So much has happened since I last updated this thing...must have been at least 2 weeks ago. Anyway, have been super busy.

I'm having so much fun teaching. I love it. I want to stay. I have two days to go and I'm sad. Not fair. Like the kids. Like the other teachers. Grr. Wish I was finished degree.

Star Wars. Love. That's all I'm going to say until I see it again. Love. And Obi Wan rocks my socks.

Well. That was a pathetic update, but I just renewed my paid subscription, and felt that my journal needed a little Lauren love.

Oh, and my icon? Pretty! I have no idea how I got those colours...but I shall try again.

So tired.

Paid LJ ran out. Too poor to buy. Must stick with Free for some time. *shrugs* It really doesn't bother me too much. It's the icon space I miss the most.

Am taking year 8 religion at school at the moment. We did Adam & Eve/Creation today and are doing Noah - The Flood tomorrow. Can't wait till Moses. Get to watch The Prince of Egypt. Excitement.

Am going to Edinburgh for New Years. Yay. New year in Scotland. Shall party.

OMG I am such a Star Wars Geek.

In honour of that fact, I made 10, count em, 10 Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith icons. Unfortunately, the only HQ images I could find were on this Natalie Portman site...hence the Padme overload. If anyone knows anywhere else with good piccies of other characters, I shall be forever in your debt.
